SimplB (Pty) Ltd is a Juristic Representative of CAEP Asset Managers (Pty) Ltd and is not independently licensed as an FSP. SimplB acts on behalf of CAEP Asset Managers, not as a principal, and may render financial services only within the scope of its own representative appointment set out below. CAEP Asset Managers accepts responsibility for the actions of its representatives while acting within the course and scope of their authorisation.

CAEP Asset Managers (Pty) Ltd holds a Category I, II and IIA licence across a broader range of financial products than those listed above. That wider licence belongs to CAEP. SimplB may render financial services only within the scope of its own representative mandate, and nothing on this website presents CAEP’s licence as SimplB’s own scope of authority. Where the FSCA register or a CAEP document shows the full CAEP licence, the products SimplB is appointed to provide are those in section 3 only.
SimplB Vaults are delivered in a regulated manner: the Vault service is operated as a Juristic Representative under the licence of CAEP Asset Managers (Pty) Ltd, and only within the scope of SimplB’s authorised appointment. Bitcoin purchases are executed through regulated service providers.
SimplB does not offer deposit products on its platform, even though Long-term and Short-term Deposits appear in its appointment. SimplB does not take or hold client funds: payments are made through named accounts.
SimplB does not offer or market an over-the-counter (OTC) trade desk or any OTC service as a regulated financial service under CAEP’s licence. Articles on this website that discuss OTC markets are general education only and are not an offer of, or a description of, a SimplB service.
